A Champion’s Path to Achievement

March 15th, 2010 · Self Development

By Atheer Fendi

We design our life with specific goals, plans and actions for achievement. Yet, in a moment all can change. We are then left to ponder the question, “Have you chosen your life path, or has it chosen you?”

Even with the best laid plans there comes a time when our greatest achievement is to surrender to that which life has put in front of us. Surrender with a sense of acceptance not defeat.

Acceptance of the inevitable often leads us to our most profound achievements, left to discover a purpose that may have been buried deep within our spirit. Like the tides, achievement has an ebb and flow.

Our greatest achievements reside in the art of possibility. The possibility that regardless of what circumstances we find ourselves immersed in we maintain our beliefs, we continue to grow, learn and expand as a direct result of the situation.

Possibilities, like people, require nurturing and a place to grow. Our minds house all possibilities, but access to them calls for a particular kind of self-love and personal knowledge. Knowing how and when to call forth the possibilities of your day or your life is an art. There are no project plans, goal setting courses or prioritized lists that will teach us to reach into ourselves and elicit the possibilities of our being.

This is personal work; the personal work of self-care, both simultaneously powerful and fragile. Possibility must be cultivated until there is a strength that allows it to stand on its own.

No matter how much evidence we have that life is full of uncertainty there are those who do all they can to achieve constant certainty. It is the very uncertainty of life that has us love with intensity, live with passion and cherish the moments that may have passed unnoticed if each moment were guaranteed to be followed by the next. It is the uncertainty of life that pushes us to achieve.

Uncertainty may well be the catalyst to become our greatest self, achieving that which we otherwise would not have. It is that which allows the ordinary to become extraordinary, the average person a champion in their own right.

A champion is one who understands that time is fleeting and life is rich with possibility. A champion is a champion first in their mind and heart long before they are a champion in their sport. We are all champions in the making. All we have to do is believe.

Twitdom – Twitter Tool

January 19th, 2010 · Twitter

By Atheer Fendi

Twitdom at would have to be the greatest site relating to
Twitter. It is a repository for all Twitter related applications and it is just
absolutely amazing what there is in there.

At the time of writing, Twitdom had nearly 500 Twitter related applications in
its database. Quite amazing when you think about it that there has been so
many third party applications written and is a pretty powerful indication as to
the value of Twitter. It also indicates the confidence of the market in that
Twitter will become very much the mainstream.

Mailing List for Affiliate Marketers

December 15th, 2009 · Email Marketing

By Atheer Fendi

If you are an affiliate marketer who wants to make a comfortable living from referring your prospects to other people’s product or service for decent commissions, then you must consider building your own mailing list.

Building your mailing list of hungry prospects can be one of the best investments you will ever make, as it is time and effort worth spending on. When you strike on a Joint Venture and have a new product or service to endorse, you can look no further than your own mailing list.

Granted, that most affiliates, as in more than 90 percent of them, are not making money from affiliate programs, but this often results from the same amount of effort focused on least effective methods.

While having your own mailing list is, by a long mile, not the only effective affiliate marketing method, you can make affiliate sales very quickly even in the next few hours after sending a sales message, provided that your mailing list is huge and responsive.

This is often true, because owning your own mailing list for you to endorse products and services to is one of the fastest-producing results, beating other affiliate marketing methods imaginable.

In a nutshell, the affiliate marketer who gets ahead of the pack is the one who owns a huge and responsive mailing list of prospects.

SocialToo – A Twitter Tool

November 27th, 2009 · Twitter

By Atheer Fendi

SocialToo at is a useful automated tool for Twitter.
At Social Too, you can set your account up to do some autopilot things for you.

First of all, you can set SocialToo up to automatically follow everyone who
follows you. This can take the drudgery out of checking all your new
followers and then going and adding them to your own list in order to reciprocate.

You can also set up SocialToo to send an automatic Direct Message to
people who follow you. Don’t do it! Automatic Direct Messages are absolutely
hated by most of the Twitter community, particularly experienced users
because they can pick them a mile off. It’s a sterile and rude way of starting
out a relationship with new followers.

The backlash against this has largely been caused because many newbies,
and some old hands too, were setting up an auto Direct Message that
basically said, “Hello, thanks for following me. Now go and visit my sales
page at http://….. “. I’m sure you get the picture. I can’t think of any worse
way to start a relationship with a new follower on Twitter. In any sort of
business, you build relationships before you try and sell someone something
and this is even more relevant in the social media space.

SocialToo will also provide you with an email every day of all your new
followers and those that have unfollowed you as well.

Another function of SocialToo is that it will automatically unfollow anyone who
unfollows you. Personally I don’t think this is a bad thing. If people aren’t
interested in you any longer, then are you really interested in them? If you
really want to keep the updates from someone, just go and follow them back
when you see their name on your unfollows email each day.
